The Markets Intern Analyst role in Tokyo supports trading teams by conducting market research, data analysis, and product development to enhance performance and risk management.

Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis and research to evaluate performance and develop new strategies and products.
- Assist in creating performance evaluation methodologies and attribution models for execution products.
- Collaborate with quants, technology, compliance, and other teams to drive product development.
- Provide clients with thematic content, market analysis, and discuss margin optimization.
- Define metrics for senior management and stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities
- Negotiate margin and credit protection clauses with clients.
- Participate in Best Execution and performance committees.
- Assist with client analysis and reporting, focusing on priority accounts.
- Ensure strong governance and controls in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Finance.
- Promote responsible finance, governance, ethics, and expense discipline.

Qualifications
- Advanced statistics and data analysis skills with modeling and spreadsheet expertise.
- Programming experience in Q/KDB, Python, or R.
- Ability to conduct research, evaluate concepts, and deliver presentations.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
