About the role

Citi is recruiting full-time Research analysts in Tokyo for the Class of 2028. Analysts will examine industry trends, assess companies’ competitive positions, conduct detailed financial analysis, develop investment strategies, and propose suitable investment opportunities to clients. The role offers early responsibility and opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends in assigned industries and evaluate companies’ positions within their sectors.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of companies under coverage.
• Develop original investment strategies based on research and analysis.
• Propose suitable investment opportunities to clients.

Eligibility and Application

• Open to students graduating from a Japanese university or graduate school by September 2028.
• Applications are accepted from September 8, 2026, through November 9, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
• Applicants will receive online assessment instructions by email after applications close.
• The position is full time and based at Citi’s Tokyo office in Otemachi.
