About the role

Citi’s Research division is hiring full-time analysts in Tokyo for the Class of 2028. Analysts study assigned industries, assess companies’ competitive positions, conduct detailed financial analysis, develop independent investment strategies, and propose suitable investment opportunities to clients. The role offers early responsibility and career development aligned with individual plans.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends in assigned industries and evaluate companies’ competitive positions.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of companies under coverage.
• Develop independent investment strategies based on research findings.
• Propose suitable investment opportunities to clients.
• Take on meaningful responsibilities early while developing toward individual career goals.

Eligibility

• Expected to graduate from a university or graduate school in Japan by September 2028.
• The position is based at Citi’s Tokyo office in Otemachi.
