About the role

Citi is hiring full-time Research Analysts in Tokyo for the 2028 graduate intake. Analysts examine industry trends, assess companies’ competitive positioning, conduct detailed financial analysis, develop investment strategies, and propose investment opportunities to clients. Applicants must expect to graduate from a Japanese university or graduate school by September 2028.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends in assigned industries and evaluate companies’ positions within their sectors.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of companies and develop original investment strategies.
• Propose suitable investment opportunities to clients based on research findings.

Role Details

• Join Citi’s Research Division as a full-time analyst.
• Work from Citi’s Tokyo office in Otemachi.
• Receive responsibility for meaningful work from an early stage.

Eligibility

• Expected to graduate from a university or graduate school in Japan by September 2028.
• Applicants must submit a résumé prepared electronically on a computer, not handwritten.
