About the role
Citi seeks an Investment Banking intern in Istanbul, Turkey, starting January 2027. The role supports bankers with client presentations, briefing materials, and KYC onboarding coordination. Interns receive training on relevant financial topics and work with the Turkey Investment Banking team under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare presentations, decks, briefing memos, and other materials for client meetings.
- Coordinate with relevant teams on new client onboarding documentation for KYC purposes.
- Complete routine, standardized assignments under direct supervision and established procedures.
- Apply sound judgment and escalate control issues while following applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
Training and Placement
- Work with the Turkey Investment Banking team for the duration of the internship.
- Receive support and education covering investment banking fundamentals, relevant topics, and Citi’s culture.
- Develop knowledge of capital structure, liability management, liquidity, funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions.
