About the role
Citi seeks an intern to join its Turkey Investment Banking team in Istanbul from January 2027. The role supports bankers with client materials and KYC onboarding while developing knowledge of financial markets, balance sheets, risk, funding, and investment solutions through team-based training and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare presentations, decks, briefing memos, and other materials for client meetings.
- Coordinate with relevant teams on new-client onboarding documentation for KYC purposes.
- Complete routine standardized assignments under direct supervision and detailed procedures.
- Apply knowledge of routine work-area procedures while servicing limited products and services.
- Assess risk in decisions, follow applicable laws and policies, and escalate control issues transparently.
Training and Team Environment
- Receive support and education on investment banking topics, role fundamentals, and Citi’s culture.
- Work with the Turkey Investment Banking team for the duration of the internship.
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets Origination teams.
