About the role

Citi’s 10-week Summer Analyst internship in Taipei offers penultimate-year students structured exposure to Investment Banking. Participants receive intensive training, join an industry or product coverage team, and support financial analysis, industry research, business development, and major corporate transactions across Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze company information to support investment banking transactions and client projects.
• Conduct industry research and revise, organize, and analyze financial data.
• Support financial analysis and business development within an industry or product coverage group.
• Potential transaction areas include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, underwriting, and securities distribution.

Program And Training

• The 10-week Summer Internship Program begins with a one-week intensive training program.
• Assignments may be rotational or within a specific team, depending on the country.
• Summer Analysts are allocated based on their interests and Citi’s business needs.
• Training covers Summer Analyst fundamentals, Investment Banking, and Citi’s culture.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Attend a top academic institution and graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Demonstrate confidence and good judgment when working to earn demanding institutional clients’ loyalty.
• Show intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to developing creative investment banking strategies.
