About the role
Part-time Investment Banking Intern in Tokyo supporting capital markets and strategic advisory services. Responsibilities include financial modeling, client transactions, and compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support client mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financial restructurings.
- Assist in underwriting and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities.
- Collect and analyze company and industry data for financial activities.
- Develop financial models including valuations and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Create business development presentations and coordinate with teams.
- Prepare internal documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in Citi's mentorship program for training and guidance.
- Assess risks and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
- Maintain ethical judgment and transparency in business practices.
Qualifications
- Relevant previous experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn and succeed in team environments.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to exceed expectations.
- Ability to work unbiasedly in a diverse environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
