About the role

Ten-week Corporate Banking Summer Analyst internship in Taipei supporting major corporate clients across financial analysis, client coverage, market research, and credit risk. You will assist Relationship Managers, contribute to client materials and meetings, and learn corporate banking fundamentals through classroom and ongoing training, with potential consideration for the following year’s full-time Analyst Program.

Responsibilities

• Analyze corporate clients’ financial statements, projections, industry trends, market data, and credit data to assess risk profiles.
• Support Relationship Managers with client presentations, proposals, marketing materials, meetings, and calls.
• Research industries, companies, economic trends, financial news, regulations, and competitive landscapes affecting clients.
• Support credit underwriting by gathering documentation, performing preliminary risk assessments, and preparing credit memos and reports.
• Learn about credit products and risk mitigation strategies.

Team Context

• Join Citi’s Corporate Banking team serving top-tier multinational clients and financial institutions across Asia Pacific.
• Potential client initiatives include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, underwriting, and securities distribution.

Program And Training

• The Summer Analyst Program runs for 10 weeks and begins with classroom-based training.
• Ongoing training sessions, networking opportunities, and social events continue throughout the program.
• Incoming Summer Analysts may be considered for the following year’s full-time Analyst Program.
