About the role
Citi’s Commercial Banking Full-Time Analyst Program in Taipei begins in July 2027. Analysts support client coverage, financial analysis, credit underwriting, lending, deal management, and product coordination while helping businesses fund operations and expand locally and internationally. The program combines formal training, hands-on experience, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct company research, industry analysis, financial analysis, valuation, discounted cash flow, and pro-forma modelling.
- Support secured, unsecured, syndicated, leveraged, term, and cross-border commercial lending processes.
- Partner with Bankers and Product teams to identify solutions matching client goals and needs.
- Prepare business development presentations, pitch books, prospect memos, and other client-related materials.
- Coordinate with credit risk, legal, compliance, operations, technology, marketing, and other internal teams.
Training and Development
- Begin with in-depth training combining formal instruction and hands-on experience.
- Receive ongoing sales, credit, product, technology, and professional skills training.
- Work with a matched Commercial Banking team for the duration of the program.
- Receive support through junior and senior mentorship structures.
Program Outcomes
- Develop understanding of Citi Commercial Bank’s target market, value proposition, and client coverage model.
- Learn how bankers engage clients, identify needs, and deliver integrated banking solutions.
- Build knowledge of credit products, loan underwriting, structuring, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
- Gain familiarity with Citi credit and regulatory policies and procedures.
