Banking - Capital Markets, Summer Analyst, Hong Kong – APAC, 2027

About the role

Citi’s Capital Markets Summer Analyst program in Hong Kong offers exposure to financing, advisory, and capital markets transactions. Analysts support corporate and government clients, work on fixed income and equity activities, and receive intensive training before joining a specific desk for the remainder of the ten-week program.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to fixed income and equity client relationships.
• Work and interact with corporate clients.
• Originate, market, structure, and execute fixed income and equity transactions.
• Help demonstrate ways to limit interest rate and credit risk using derivatives.
• Support financing packages that address corporate and government clients’ capital needs.

Program Details

• The ten-week program starts in June.
• The program begins with one and a half weeks of training.
• Spend the remaining eight and a half weeks on a specific desk.
• Network with peers through activities, including a local charity team-building event.
• Top-performing Summer Analysts may be hired into the following year’s Capital Markets Analyst Program.

Requirements

• Be in the penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Attend a top academic institution and graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Demonstrate commitment to personal growth, career development, and continuous learning.
• Show strong communication, planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Have an interest in building investor relationships and raising capital.
• Demonstrate integrity and ethical decision-making.
