About the role

Citi's Commercial Banking Summer Analyst Program in Singapore offers a 10-week internship starting in June 2027. Analysts gain hands-on experience in client coverage, credit analysis, and commercial lending, supported by training and mentorship to develop commercial banking skills.

Program Structure

• 10-week Summer Analyst Program starting in June 2027.

• Work directly with Relationship Managers on client portfolios.

Key Learning Areas

• Understand CCB target market and client coverage model.
• Learn client interaction and needs identification.
• Study credit product types and loan underwriting process.
• Experience end-to-end credit origination and portfolio monitoring.
• Engage with clients, prospects, and centers of influence.
• Learn Citi credit and regulatory policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company research and industry analysis.
• Perform financial data analysis and modeling.
• Support commercial lending including various loan types.
• Partner with Bankers and Product teams to meet client goals.
• Assist in deal management and client presentation preparation.
• Collaborate with product, credit risk, legal, marketing, and operations teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Penultimate year Bachelor’s or Master’s student graduating Dec 2027–June 2028.
• Major in Finance, Accounting, or relevant financial services experience.
• Preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Proficient in MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about stakeholder partnership and goal achievement.
