About the role

Citi’s 10-week Commercial Banking Summer Analyst Program in Hong Kong offers penultimate-year bachelor’s or master’s students an immersive experience across key businesses or functions. Participants work on projects, receive training, mentoring and networking opportunities, and develop a broad understanding of Commercial Banking, serving mid-sized companies across Asia.

Role and Business

• Join Citi’s Commercial Banking team in Asia, serving mid-sized companies with revenues between $10 million and $3 billion.
• Commercial Banking provides lending, cash management, trade, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, and capital markets solutions.
• Summer Analysts are assigned to Citi’s key businesses or functions and complete projects for an immersive experience.

Program and Development

• Gain a broad understanding of Commercial Banking and Citi’s operational intricacies through mentorship, training, and career development programming.
• Participate in essential-skills training, comprehensive orientation, buddy programs, networking events, speaker series, and structured development opportunities.
• The program supports the pipeline for Citi’s Full-time Analyst Program.

Candidate Profile

• Be in the penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline at a top academic institution.
• Graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Demonstrate dedication to learning, passion for banking, enthusiasm, competency, innovation, and a global outlook.
• Show interest in working with local small and medium-sized enterprises.
• Be results-oriented, collaborative, highly numerate, and possess strong analytical skills.
• Previous work experience is not required.
