About the role
Join Citadel as an Operations Analyst Intern in London to work on trade lifecycle processes, collaborate with trading desks, and improve technology and processes in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in trade lifecycle including clearance, settlements, and cash management.
- Collaborate with trading desks, counterparties, exchanges, prime brokers, and custodians.
- Identify and implement technology and process improvements.
- Solve complex business problems with intellectual curiosity and innovation.
Learning Opportunities
- Gain exposure to financial markets and products.
- Understand trade lifecycle from execution to settlement and cash management.
- Learn about securities financing including prime brokerage, swaps, tri-party, stock loan, and repo.

Candidate Requirements

- Exceptional communication skills and strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; basic programming is a plus.
- Academic background or experience in operational or quantitative fields such as engineering, finance, economics, or math.
