Quant Trading Internship - Summer 2027

About the role

Join Chicago Trading Company as a Quant Trading Intern for an 8-week summer program in London. Gain hands-on experience in quantitative trading, market making, and trading technology while collaborating with traders, quants, and developers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Play a substantial role in day-to-day trading and quant activities.
• Complete project work and identify trading opportunities.
• Communicate with software engineers, quants, traders, and risk managers.
• Work in a role similar to a full-time Quant Trading Associate.
• Participate in trading technology exposure and hands-on trading experience.
• Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with your manager for progress feedback.

Program Details

• 8-week internship from mid-June to early August 2027 in London.
• Includes Basics of Options, Market Making (Mock Trading), and Quant Curriculum classes.

Candidate Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree, any major.
• Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Demonstrated academic success and awards.
• Willing to relocate to London for the full internship duration.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Basic programming skills or willingness to learn Python.
