About the role

Role and Responsibilities
- Work as part of a trading or quantitative team to identify trading opportunities.
- Engage in trade execution, strategy formulation, back-testing, and data analysis.
- Model and price traded financial derivatives.
- Communicate with traders, risk managers, software engineers, and quants.
- Learn all aspects of trading and quant operations.
- Work towards roles generating trading revenue or strategy development.
Training and Development
- Receive formal classroom instruction and mock trading experience.
- Gain practical exposure to derivatives markets.
- Learn options pricing, trading philosophies, and programming.
- Get one-on-one mentorship from senior firm members.
- Opportunity to make autonomous trading decisions.
- Participate in data-driven research for alpha generation.
Candidate Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any major.
- Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Demonstrated record of academic or other success.
- Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Basic programming skills or willingness to learn Python.
