About the role

BTIG seeks an Investment Banking Analyst for its Energy & Infrastructure team in Dallas or Houston. The role supports senior bankers on domestic and international M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions, combining financial modelling, transaction execution, sector research, marketing materials, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Build and analyze DCF, NAV, LBO, accretion/dilution, comparable-company, and precedent-transaction financial models.
• Support day-to-day execution of M&A and capital markets transactions with internal teams, counsel, and clients.
• Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials.
• Research energy markets, commodity prices, regulatory changes, macroeconomic drivers, and competitive landscapes.
• Manage data rooms and coordinate due diligence, including reviews of technical and financial documents.
• Communicate with bankers, clients, lawyers, accountants, and advisors; support meetings and document strategic follow-ups.

Sector Coverage

• The team covers upstream, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services energy and infrastructure subsectors.
• Assignments include sell-side and buy-side M&A, public and private capital raises, and strategic advisory work.

Role Details

• Position is based in Dallas or Houston, Texas, within a lean and fast-paced deal team.
• Candidates must manage multiple workstreams independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
