2027 Summer Internship Program – Venture Capital, New York

About the role

Ten-week New York internship with Brevan Howard’s Venture Capital team. Interns receive market and technical training, then support startup due diligence, technology research, industry mapping, deal financial analysis, and investment prospect identification. The program offers mentoring and exposure to macro hedge fund investing, with high-performing interns considered for the 2028 Graduate Program.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging technologies, including fusion, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and space.
• Conduct due diligence on startups and map relevant industry segments.
• Perform financial analysis on deals and identify potential investment prospects.
• Work directly with senior professionals on projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Apply research, data analysis, Excel, Python, and AI tools to investment-related work.

Training and Development

• Complete one week of in-depth training covering financial markets and investment topics.
• Training includes macroeconomics, foreign exchange, digital assets, rates, equities, bonds, credit, and fixed income.
• Learn about trading strategies, risk management, Excel, Python, and current AI tools and large language models.
• Receive mentoring, attend key talks, participate in social events, and interact with industry professionals.
• Gain exposure to macro hedge fund operations and the regulatory environment.
