Systems Administrator, Fall 2026 (Co-op/Internship) - 8 months

Role Responsibilities
- Monitor and restore service for mission-critical systems 24/7 to meet business service levels.
- Provide help desk support and coordinate incident management and production deployments.
- Deploy and manage applications and infrastructure per deployment plans and build guides.
- Work with development teams to build self-healing enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead incident recovery efforts.

Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS and Microsoft Azure (ST-2030).
- Strong administration skills in Linux (CLI) and Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, CDK, CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of middleware such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere.
- Application support experience troubleshooting middleware and OS issues.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies after internship.
- Strong desire to learn with technical proficiency from education or experience.
- Understanding of IT operating processes for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- In-depth verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks and make data-driven decisions.

Program Details
- Duration: 8 months (Fall 2026).

- Salary range: $61,600 to $113,900 annually (pro-rated for internship).
