Junior Cybersecurity Intern, Winter 2027 (Co-op/Internship) - 4 Months

About the role

This four-month Winter 2027 co-op/internship supports BMO’s mission-critical Information Security systems in Toronto. The role monitors security tools, handles service requests and incidents, supports operational activities, and provides technical cybersecurity expertise. Candidates should be enrolled students returning to studies, with information security knowledge, analytical ability, and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain security tools and applications supporting BMO’s Information Security operations.
• Create activity reports and handle service requests, transactions, and queries within applicable service-level agreements.
• Coordinate incident management, including production changes and engagement with contracted third-party providers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support Information Security operational activities and business objectives.
• Analyze issues, determine next steps, and recommend improvements to security processes and systems.
• Provide technical Information Security expertise while supporting 24/7/365 mission-critical operations.
