About the role
Eight-month Data Analytics Internship in Toronto for students returning to their studies. The role applies data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelling to large datasets, generating insights, improving customer experiences, supporting business decisions, and developing scalable analytics solutions with product and analytics teams.
Responsibilities
- Apply analytical algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence to structured and unstructured data.
- Mine data, identify patterns, assess AI/ML feasibility, and develop predictive models for business solutions.
- Investigate technologies and tools that improve data processing, customer experience, productivity, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with product teams and partners on data-driven decisions, business planning, and future roadmaps.
- Provide recommendations to business leaders and propose innovative solutions to address consumer trends and business problems.
- Work mostly independently while applying BMO’s Risk Management Framework, policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
Program and Application

Requirements
- Strong desire to learn and develop within BMO’s campus program.

- Familiarity with agile frameworks, systems thinking, change management, and technology transformation is identified.
- Full-time roles require two to three years of relevant experience; this internship seeks motivated learners instead.
