About the Team
- Work with the Data Cognition Team at BMO Capital Markets, a leading North American financial services provider.
- Develop scalable, customizable AI-enabled products for various business units.
- Leverage latest AI research to solve challenging business problems.
Program Overview

Role Overview & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance interactive web applications using React and modern frameworks.
- Create user-friendly web interfaces with intuitive UX design.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and reporting tools for capital market trading.
- Incorporate AI and machine learning into software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient code in Python, C#, C++ and participate in code reviews.
- Deploy solutions in cloud environments using Docker and virtualization techniques.
Data Management & Collaboration
- Implement automated ETL processes to make data accessible.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Enhance and support existing applications and systems.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or non-MBA Master’s program in CS, Math, Physics, Stats, Engineering or similar.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and 2029.
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages and modern web development.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies, open source technologies, and modern data architectures.
- Strong quantitative, technology, finance skills and effective communication.
