About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, data, processes, and technology performance to improve operations and inform decisions.
  • Elicit requirements, assess feasibility, and support project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create clear project documentation covering functional and non-functional business requirements for stakeholders.
  • Analyze strategic problems and data to develop insights, recommendations, and business value.
  • Build test cases to validate business requirements and end-user testing results.
  • Identify malfunctions, troubleshoot business issues, and apply BMO’s risk management framework.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies after the internship.
  • Understand artificial intelligence concepts, including generative AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and automation tools.
  • Use AI technologies to improve efficiency, support data-driven decisions, and streamline business processes.
  • Understand responsible AI principles, including data privacy, security, ethical use, and risk management.
  • Demonstrate agile delivery, data analysis, process improvement, systems thinking, and business architecture knowledge.
  • Bring communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, requirements analysis, functional design, and reporting skills.
