About the role
Summer 2027 Credit Analyst Internship supporting commercial banking lending decisions for an assigned client portfolio in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role performs financial and credit risk analysis, monitors portfolio performance, supports loan structuring and client proposals, and collaborates with Relationship Managers while following bank policies, regulatory standards, and risk-management requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis and calculations, then provide recommendations to the Manager.
- Prepare credit summaries assessing client creditworthiness and supporting lending decisions.
- Monitor portfolio performance, compliance metrics, industry trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Structure and support new, renewal, and extension loans under client and bank requirements.
- Support proposals, presentations, service requests, and initiatives to grow client relationships.
- Maintain accurate system data and identify revenue, cross-selling, and share-of-wallet opportunities.
