About the role
Credit Analyst Intern supporting commercial banking lending decisions for an assigned client portfolio. Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis, credit assessments, and calculations to support lending recommendations.
- Prepare credit summaries evaluating client creditworthiness and supporting decision-making.
- Monitor portfolio performance, compliance metrics, industry trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support new, renewal, and extension loan structures aligned with client needs and bank policies.
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, client service, relationship development, and portfolio growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate system data and identify revenue, cross-selling, and share-of-wallet opportunities.
Requirements and Skills
- Relevant credit, lending, or financial operations experience in a corporate or banking environment is preferred.
- Foundational proficiency in financial analysis, loan structuring, data analysis tools, and credit risk assessment.
- Foundational knowledge of regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and banking operations.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, collaboration, and attention to detail.
