About the role
Four-month Commercial Banking Credit Analyst internship in Vancouver supporting lending decisions, credit assessments, portfolio monitoring, and client relationship growth. Interns work with experienced Commercial Bankers, develop financial analysis and risk assessment skills, contribute to proposals and presentations, and explore a career in commercial banking.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and credit information to support lending decisions for new and existing commercial banking clients.
- Prepare credit summaries, financial analyses, risk assessments, and recommendations for managers and decision-makers.
- Monitor portfolio performance, compliance, industry trends, risks, opportunities, and required corrective actions.
- Structure and support new, renewal, and extension loans within client needs and bank risk policies.
- Support proposals, presentations, service requests, client relationships, business acquisition, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate system data and use analysis tools to evaluate client returns and portfolio growth.
