About the role

Four-month Commercial Banking Credit Analyst internship in Montreal supporting lending decisions for new and existing commercial clients. You will perform financial analysis, assess credit risk, monitor portfolios, prepare credit summaries, and support relationship growth while working with experienced Commercial Bankers. The role runs May 3 to August 13, 2027, with full-term availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and calculations, making recommendations to the manager.
• Analyze credit information and assess client creditworthiness for lending decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, compliance, metrics, and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare credit summaries, proposals, and presentations supporting business development and decision-making.
• Structure new, renewal, and extension loans aligned with client needs and bank policies.
• Support client relationships, service requests, portfolio growth, cross-selling, and accurate data management.

Program and location

• The internship is based in Montreal at 119 rue St-Jacques Ouest.
• Candidates must be available for the complete internship term and cohort activities.
• The role supports clients and team members inside and outside Quebec.
