Data Science Analyst - Audit AI & Analytics, Winter 2027 (Co-op/Internship) - 4 Months

About the role

Four-month Toronto co-op/internship for a Data Science Analyst supporting Audit AI & Analytics. The role applies SQL, Python, Power BI, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and large language models to analyze structured and unstructured data, develop predictive solutions, automate processes, and provide data-driven recommendations for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable business insights.
• Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and innovative analytics solutions for business stakeholders.
• Assess data sources and evaluate AI or machine learning solutions for improved organizational data processing.
• Create data-driven recommendations supporting business decisions, planning, productivity, customer experience, and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with product teams and partners on data-driven decisions, business planning, and future roadmaps.
• Apply the bank’s Risk Management Framework when making risk-informed decisions and protecting organizational assets.

Working Style

• Work mostly independently while collaborating with data and analytics professionals and other teams.
