Responsibilities
- Build reporting dashboards using appropriate data extraction, cleaning, visualization, and analytics techniques.
- Identify trends and patterns, transforming raw data into actionable business insights and decision support.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and improve existing data visualization systems.
- Collaborate with teams, management, and stakeholders to improve analytics solution usability and visual appeal.
- Document data flows, systems, and processes to improve business and group processes.
- Develop reporting tools and training for non-analytical users of self-serve analytics.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies after the co-op or internship.
- Demonstrated interest in learning and developing skills in data analytics and reporting.
- Foundational proficiency in data visualization, data storytelling, data mining, insights development, and reporting.
- Foundational technical design, systems thinking, creative thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Specialized knowledge gained through education or business experience.
