About the role

Four-month Winter 2027 co-op/internship supporting trade capture, securities and trade transaction processing, downstream settlement, analytics, and financial accounting. The role involves reconciliations, reporting, issue resolution, stakeholder collaboration, process improvements, and operational controls. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to their studies.

Responsibilities

  • Support timely, accurate booking of securities and trade transactions for clean downstream settlement.
  • Capture transactional information supporting downstream analytics and financial accounting processes.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards while organizing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Execute service requests, transactions, and queries within service-level agreements and documented procedures.
  • Reconcile information, analyze issues, resolve discrepancies, and escalate trade issues when required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on controls, regulatory requirements, process improvements, tools, and training.

Program and Application

  • Winter 2027 co-op/internship located in Toronto, Ontario, with a four-month duration.
  • Only students currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to their studies will be considered.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of relevant systems, technology, business products, services, processes, and controls.
  • Good understanding of business risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Good prioritization, customer service, communication, organization, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
