About the role
This four-month Winter 2027 co-op/internship supports BMO’s Private Wealth team in Toronto through administrative, clerical, records, invoice, scheduling, travel, communications, and office coordination tasks. The role involves routine problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and escalation under established policies and controls. Applicants must be enrolled and returning to studies.
Responsibilities
- Provide office support, including filing records, maintaining databases, administering documentation, and managing office supplies.
- Process invoices, funding requests, work orders, and budget information; resolve or escalate discrepancies under applicable procedures.
- Schedule meetings, coordinate equipment and catering, book management travel, and prepare itineraries.
- Answer phone inquiries and prepare, edit, distribute, and update communications and departmental procedures.
- Track timesheets, attendance, staff availability, premises changes, relocations, furniture requirements, and vendor coordination.
- Complete standardized tasks under supervision, solve routine problems within established limits, and escalate non-routine issues.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies after the co-op or internship.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures and office equipment, including photocopiers and printers.
- General knowledge of audiovisual equipment for demonstrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Basic verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate in Office Administration.
