About the Team

  • Advises founders, family businesses, and private equity sponsors on M&A transactions.
  • Business Development focuses on sourcing opportunities and building referral relationships.
  • Supports deal pipeline through client engagement and strategic growth initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance BD tracking systems including Salesforce and meeting logs.
  • Research prospective clients and centers of influence like attorneys and wealth advisors.
  • Build target lists and company profiles for sector-specific BD campaigns.
  • Prepare meeting materials including briefs and tailored pitch content.
  • Track and analyze industry events and support post-event follow-up.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to organize data effectively.
  • Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Interest in M&A, private capital markets, and relationship-driven business.
  • Self-starter able to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
  • Prior finance or banking exposure is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with coursework in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • 0-3 years relevant experience in investment or corporate banking.
  • Proficient with financial applications and database management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
