Private Wealth Administrative Assistant, Fall 2026 (Co-op/Internship) - 4 months

This 4-month co-op/internship supports Investment Advisors and their teams with administrative tasks and client service to help achieve business goals in wealth management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Book meetings with new prospects and prepare introductory packages.
  • Coordinate marketing activities including social media and client events.
  • Schedule and prepare client portfolio reviews and update Investment Advisors.
  • Handle client inquiries, account maintenance, and fund transfers.
  • Accept and execute client trades and provide stock information.

Additional Duties

  • Resolve client complaints and escalate when necessary.
  • Mentor junior team members and support technology use.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management and regulatory policies.
  • Develop client rapport to retain and grow relationships.
  • Support Investment Advisors with customized investment advice.

Qualifications

  • Motivated students with strong desire to learn; 3-5 years experience for full-time roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of investment and administrative processes.
  • Familiarity with proprietary products, compliance, and trade processing.
  • Good verbal, written communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance, trust, estate, and financial planning is an asset.
