Investment Team Intern, Summer 2027 (Co-op/Internship) - 4 months

About the role

Four-month investment team internship supporting ETFs, structured solutions, alternative investments, core active investments, or client portfolio management. Interns will work with portfolio managers and researchers on reporting, investment research, market analysis, data tools, and workflow improvements while gaining practical exposure to asset management and data-driven investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recurring and ad hoc investment, market, and business reporting.
• Build, update, and maintain reports, dashboards, data files, Excel tools, templates, and macros.
• Prepare charts, tables, summaries, research briefs, and briefing materials for investment teams.
• Gather, organize, and summarize internal and external data for analysis and reporting.
• Support analysis of market trends, product themes, competitor activity, and portfolio positioning.
• Review reporting accuracy and identify insights, risks, considerations, and process improvements.

Program Details

• Internship runs from May 3, 2027, through August 13, 2027, with full-term availability required.
• Placements may support ETFs, structured solutions, alternative investments, core active investments, or client portfolio management.
• Students receive mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to real-world investment challenges.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and returning to studies after the internship.
• Strong interest in investments, financial markets, and asset management.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, independence, collaboration, curiosity, and proactive questioning.
• Preferred fields include business, finance, economics, mathematics, data analytics, computer science, or engineering.
