About the role

The 10-week, in-person Summer Analyst experience places interns within Blackstone Technology & Innovations, building and supporting software, cloud, data, infrastructure, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. Participants collaborate with engineers, product managers, data practitioners, and business stakeholders while receiving mentorship, training, feedback, and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and support software solutions used across Blackstone’s businesses.
  • Develop applications, services, APIs, automation capabilities, and systems managing large data volumes.
  • Contribute to cloud-native architectures, platform engineering initiatives, and infrastructure automation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data practitioners, and business stakeholders on production solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, software delivery, and operational workflow automation.
  • Use firm-approved AI-assisted development tools, plugins, skills, and standards when writing and reviewing code.

Technologies

  • Potential technologies include Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, React, Node.js, SQL, and database technologies.
  • Potential platforms include AWS, Snowflake, Docker, Terraform, GitLab, CI/CD, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
  • Teams may provide experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms.

Programme Details

  • The Summer Analyst Programme lasts 10 weeks and is conducted in person.
  • Participants receive mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, and networking opportunities.
  • Participants work alongside experienced developers, architects, product teams, and professionals across Blackstone.
  • Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis and close Friday, 30 October 2026.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student, with anticipated graduation in summer 2028.
  • Demonstrate strong programming fundamentals in any modern programming language.
  • Show analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, strong communication, and effective collaborative working skills.
  • Demonstrate interest in software engineering, cloud computing, data systems, or platform technologies.
  • Show curiosity about applying artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to real-world problems.
  • Submit a PDF CV including expected graduation month, year, and grade.
