About the role
Blackstone seeks a Data Engineer Summer Analyst for June 2027 in Miami. The role involves building and supporting ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, AWS, and Snowflake in a collaborative tech environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Work with Python, Pandas, SQL, and AWS services including S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda.
- Develop containerized microservices using Docker and automate infrastructure with Terraform.
- Use Prefect and Snowflake for data orchestration and cloud data warehousing.
- Write automated unit, integration, and deployment tests.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Team and Environment
- Work within Blackstone Technology & Innovations powering alternative asset management.
- Engage in entrepreneurial, collaborative teams solving complex technical problems.
- Interns contribute meaningful work alongside experienced developers and architects.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student graduating Fall 2027 to Spring 2028.
- Resume must include expected graduation date and GPA in PDF format.
- Strong Python and object-oriented programming experience.
- Knowledge of SQL, AWS ecosystem, Snowflake, and data orchestration tools.
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to learn and improve.
Program Details
- Start date: June 2027 in Miami, FL.
- Annual base salary: $125,000 (subject to experience and location).
- No eligibility for Blackstone health and insurance benefits.
