2027 Blackstone Cybersecurity Summer Analyst

About the role

Blackstone offers a Cybersecurity Summer Analyst internship in Miami starting June 2027. Interns join the Cybersecurity Team to protect information assets, manage risks, and respond to security incidents using advanced tools and programming skills.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess and manage risks to Blackstone's systems, networks, and data.
• Implement and maintain security controls and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Monitor and respond to security events and incidents.
• Investigate security incidents and recommend remediation.
• Automate security tasks through scripting or programming.

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance to development teams for secure software practices.
• Contribute to cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners and penetration testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Linux, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of secure software development and coding principles.
• Ability to analyze security logs and communicate risks effectively.

Program Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student.
• Anticipated graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Resume must include expected graduation date and GPA in PDF format.
• Must meet eligibility criteria to apply for the 2027 Summer Analyst Program.

Compensation and Additional Info

• Expected annual base salary: $125,000.
• Salary varies by experience, skills, and location.
• No eligibility for Blackstone health and insurance benefits.
• May require securities licenses for client-facing roles.
