About the role
Blackstone seeks a motivated Summer Analyst for its Internal Audit team to support risk assessment, audit planning, and control testing. Gain hands-on experience in audit processes and exposure to global operations in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Support internal audit execution and related activities.
- Assist in risk assessment by gathering and analyzing data.
- Help prepare audit planning documents including scope and objectives.
- Perform control testing under senior auditor supervision.
- Use analytical tools to identify trends and control gaps.
- Prepare audit workpapers and summarize findings.
Special Project
- Lead a special project to support continuous improvement in the audit department.
Candidate Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Interest in internal audit, risk management, and control evaluation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; data analytics or audit software a plus.
- Commitment to professional integrity and teamwork.
