About the role

Blackstone Infrastructure seeks a post-MBA Investment Senior Associate for its institutional and private wealth strategies in New York. The role leads infrastructure investment execution, due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, investment committee materials, portfolio work, and junior-team management across energy, transportation, digital infrastructure, and water and waste infrastructure.

Team and Platform

• Support Blackstone Infrastructure Partners and the perpetual-life BXINFRA private wealth strategy deal teams.
• Invest across energy, transportation, digital infrastructure, and water and waste infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal execution from opportunity screening through evaluation, financial analysis, structuring, acquisition financing, and legal documentation.
• Conduct due diligence, develop investment theses, engage management teams, coordinate advisers, and execute business plans.
• Prepare and discuss transaction evaluation materials with Blackstone Infrastructure’s Investment Committee.
• Manage Associates and Analysts within the investment team.
• Work with portfolio companies, Portfolio Operations, and Senior Advisors on add-ons, refinancing, and exit opportunities.
• Contribute to culture, group-building, and strategic initiatives for the growing investment platform.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program and expecting to graduate in Spring 2027.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, confidence, self-awareness, and excellent communication abilities.
• Show a strong work ethic, passion for excellence, professional integrity, and effectiveness in fast-paced teams.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders toward deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior private equity experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of business strategy, finance, and accounting is desirable.
