2027 Blackstone Infrastructure, Investment Summer Senior Associate

About the role

Blackstone Infrastructure is seeking 2027 Summer Senior Associates for its institutional and private wealth investment strategies in New York. The role involves evaluating infrastructure opportunities, executing transactions, managing portfolio investments, leading junior professionals, and contributing to the growth of a fast-growing infrastructure investment platform.

Role and Responsibilities

• Evaluate new infrastructure investment opportunities across energy, transportation, digital infrastructure, and water and waste infrastructure.
• Lead deal execution, including screening, financial analysis, structuring, acquisition financing, and legal documentation.
• Conduct due diligence, develop investment theses, and coordinate management teams, advisors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare transaction evaluation materials and participate in discussions with Blackstone’s Investment Committee.
• Manage Associates and Analysts and work with portfolio companies on add-on investments, refinancing, and exits.
• Contribute to culture, group-building, and strategic initiatives for the investment platform.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled as an MBA student with an anticipated Spring 2028 graduation.
• Demonstrated excellence, strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a solid work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional integrity, and sound judgment.
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team and manage stakeholders toward deadlines.
• Confident, intellectually curious, self-aware, and passionate about excellence.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of business strategy, finance, and accounting is desirable.
• Prior private equity experience is preferred.
• Infrastructure investing experience is not required.
