2027 Blackstone BXPE Summer Analyst

About the role

The 10-week, in-person BXPE Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduate students exposure to Blackstone’s private equity investment lifecycle. Analysts support research, diligence, valuation, modeling, transaction structuring, financing, and execution across diverse investments, working on multiple assignments with deal teams and directly alongside senior professionals in New York.

Program and Team

• BXPE invests in diversified global private equity opportunities across industries, geographies, and investment structures.
• Summer Analysts work on several assignments, assume integral deal-team roles, and interact directly with senior professionals.
• The program includes mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft-skill training, and networking across Blackstone.
• Analysts may attend investment committee meetings, management sessions, and transaction negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment research and interviews with industry experts.
• Perform financial analysis, valuation, financial modeling, industry analysis, and competitive analysis.
• Support business diligence and draft memoranda for internal and external use.
• Assist with transaction execution, structuring, and financing across minority, co-control, and control investments.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, with anticipated graduation between fall 2027 and spring 2028.
• Submit a PDF resume including expected graduation month and year, plus GPA.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in team-driven environments.
• Bring basic accounting and finance knowledge, strong motivation, sound judgment, and the ability to solve problems independently.
