About the role
Blackstone’s Global Fund Accounting & Finance Summer Analyst Program offers hands-on experience supporting alternative investment funds in Miami. Participants work across fund accounting and finance activities, receive targeted technical training, and gain exposure to senior management, mentors, investors, technology teams, valuation, tax, and compliance partners.
Program
- Support a specific business across Private Equity, Tactical Opportunities, Strategic Partners, Credit, Real Estate, or Hedge Fund Solutions.
- Gain hands-on experience across Global Fund Accounting & Finance teams and direct exposure to senior-level management.
- Receive mentorship, development opportunities, and targeted training in technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accounting records, review daily cash and investment activity, and monitor credit facility activity.
- Prepare capital drawdowns, distributions, waterfall calculations, management fee calculations, and billing statements.
- Prepare quarterly and audited annual reports, including financial footnotes, and review quarterly capital account statements.
- Work with technology, valuation, tax compliance, and business teams to improve systems and ensure accurate reporting.
- Liaise with investors, assist with new fund onboarding, and review external compliance deliverables including Form PF and AIFMD.
- Assist with special projects, internal requests, investor reporting, performance reporting, and front-office support.
Compensation
- Expected annual base salary is $90,000; actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
- Base salary excludes other compensation or benefits offered with the role.
- Summer analysts are not eligible to participate in Blackstone’s health and other insurance benefit programs.
