About the role

Apprenticeship as an application development specialist starting August 1, 2027, in Hamburg. Work in agile teams developing software using modern technologies like Java, Python, and cloud platforms. Gain hands-on experience in software development and IT projects within a leading private bank.

Role and Responsibilities

• Learn all phases of software development in cross-functional teams.
• Support daily IT operations and contribute to IT projects.
• Develop and enhance software solutions continuously.
• Participate in special apprenticeship projects.
• Work with modern tech stacks including Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python.
• Engage with cloud technologies like Azure and container orchestration tools.

Team and Environment

• IT department with about 300 employees working mostly agile with Scrumban.
• Focus areas include cloud computing, cybersecurity, operations, software development.
• Almost all applications developed in-house for flexibility and innovation.
• Use of modern technologies: CI/CD, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, Oracle DB with PL/SQL.

Candidate Requirements

• Middle school diploma, advanced technical college entrance qualification, or high school diploma with good grades.
• Interest in software development and innovative technologies.
• Technical understanding and problem-solving enthusiasm.
• Enjoy independent and varied work.
• Good communication skills and team orientation.
