About the role

Join Berenberg's Equity Research team in Hamburg for a three-month full-time internship starting October 2026. Support research on European equities, build financial models, and collaborate with analysts across Europe and the US.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on publicly traded companies and market trends.
• Analyze financial data to create models, projections, and valuations.
• Write research reports and maintain company databases.
• Attend presentations and conference calls to share findings.
• Support junior and senior analysts in European small- and mid-cap coverage.
• Collaborate with London-based analysts and EU teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree from a top university in Economics, Finance, or Business.
• Preferably previous internship experience in equity research or related fields.
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
• Team player with collaborative mindset across regions.
