About the role
Join Berenberg's Equity Capital Markets team in Frankfurt for a 3-6 month full-time internship starting Q1 2027. Gain hands-on experience in ECM transactions across Continental Europe, working closely with senior management and industry leaders.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support live ECM transactions including IPOs, capital increases, and secondary placements.
- Coordinate projects with company management, syndicate banks, legal counsels, and investors.
- Assist in due diligence, prospectus drafting, and related transaction tasks.
- Develop presentation materials such as pitch books and marketing documents.
- Collaborate continuously with senior management across all tasks.
- Conduct detailed analyses on companies and sectors.

Candidate Requirements
- Top university degree in Economics, Finance, or Business with excellent academics.
- Prior internship experience in investment banking or corporate finance, ideally ECM.
- Strong technical expertise and early responsibility exposure.
- Excellent analytical skills and focus on high-quality output.
- Impeccable communication and strong team player mindset.
- Full professional fluency in English required.
