About the role
Barclays’ 10-week Technology Analyst Summer Internship in Northampton offers penultimate-year students hands-on experience across digital platforms, infrastructure, data and change. Interns participate in technology operations, product design, innovation and solution development while collaborating with business and technology teams and building technical awareness in a global financial services business.
Responsibilities
- Participate in day-to-day technology operations across capabilities supporting customers and colleagues.
- Contribute to product design and innovation using new technologies.
- Develop change initiatives and innovative technology solutions.
- Collaborate with business and development teams to understand needs and align solutions with objectives.
- Work with peers, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Analyze information, resolve problems, communicate complex issues, and manage relevant risks and controls.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be in their penultimate year of university and graduating in 2028.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in technology, strong problem-solving skills, and motivation to deliver innovative solutions.
- Successful applicants must work full-time in the UK from June 2027 to August 2027.
- Barclays accepts visa sponsorship applications subject to Home Office skilled worker visa eligibility.
