About the role
Barclays’ two-year Technology Analyst Explorer Programme in Knutsford offers three eight-month rotations across technology capabilities. Analysts support digital platforms, infrastructure, data and change, contributing to product design, innovation and technology solutions while building technical awareness and problem-solving skills. Job-based training begins immediately, with the programme running from August 2027 to August 2029.
Programme Structure

Responsibilities
- Participate in designing and innovating products using new technologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and support development team alignment.
- Develop change initiatives and innovative technology solutions.
- Collaborate with peers and promote knowledge sharing.
Role Expectations
- Complete prescribed activities promptly and consistently to a high standard.
- Develop technical expertise and apply problem-solving skills to assigned work.
- Partner with other functions and business areas to support shared objectives.
- Make evaluative judgements using factual information and attention to detail.

Requirements
- Be a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a strong degree or expected degree.
- Achieve or expect to achieve the degree before June 2027.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in technology and strong problem-solving skills.
- Show drive to deliver innovative solutions.
Work Authorisation
- Barclays accepts applications from candidates requiring UK visa sponsorship.
- Successful applicants requiring sponsorship must meet Home Office Skilled Worker visa eligibility criteria.
- Applicants without sponsorship eligibility must have their own full-time UK work rights from August 2027 to August 2029.
