About the role

Join Barclays as a Technology Analyst in Glasgow’s two-year Explorer Programme, gaining breadth and depth through bespoke training and three eight-month rotations. You’ll work across digital platforms, infrastructure, data and change, developing technical awareness and problem-solving skills while contributing to innovative solutions for a global financial services business.

Programme

• Complete a two-year Explorer Programme combining job-based bespoke training with three eight-month rotations.
• Work across technology capabilities supporting customers and colleagues within a global financial services business.
• Develop technical awareness, problem-solving skills and understanding of technology’s role in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing and innovating products using the newest technologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and communicate them to development teams.
• Develop change initiatives and innovative technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with peers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Manage risks, strengthen controls and complete work according to relevant rules, regulations and codes of conduct.

Requirements

• Have a strong degree or expected degree completed before June 2027.
• Demonstrate genuine interest in technology and strong problem-solving skills.
• Show motivation and drive to deliver innovative solutions.
• Make evaluative judgements using factual information and apply technical experience to resolve problems.

Location And Eligibility

• The role is based at Barclays’ Glasgow campus, with hybrid working opportunities.
• Applicants requiring UK visa sponsorship may be considered, subject to Skilled Worker visa eligibility criteria.
• Applicants without sponsorship eligibility must have the legal right to work full-time in the UK.
