About the role

Two-year Barclays graduate programme in Northampton across Retail, Business and Customer Banking. Through three eight-month rotations, graduates receive bespoke training and gain experience in research, strategic decision-making, product and service development, customer support, financial modelling, and cross-functional initiatives while helping shape connected banking experiences.

Programme

• Join a two-year Explorer Programme with three eight-month job rotations.
• Receive bespoke, job-based training from the beginning of the programme.
• Build relationships with peers and leaders through mentoring, networking, feedback, and volunteering opportunities.
• Work in Northampton at Barclays’ environmentally friendly campus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research projects supporting strategic decisions, and prepare presentations and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and retail banking priorities.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and support new product and service launches.
• Manage customer relationships, answer product questions, process transactions, and resolve complaints.
• Support financial model and strategy development for retail banking decision-making.
• Manage risk, follow policies and procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a strong degree or expected degree.
• Complete the degree before June 2027.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, curiosity, and a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Show a sharp eye for opportunities and a mindset focused on clients and customers.
• Applicants requiring UK visa sponsorship may be considered if they meet Skilled Worker visa criteria.
• Applicants unable to obtain sponsorship need full-time UK work rights from August 2027 to August 2029.
