About the role

Ten-week London internship for penultimate-year students graduating in 2028. As an Advanced Analytics Analyst in Customer and Digital, you will analyse customer, product and channel data, develop technical and consulting skills, create decision-support insights, and contribute to retail banking initiatives through projects, training and stakeholder collaboration.

Role and responsibilities

  • Conduct hypothesis-driven analysis of customer, product and channel data to generate actionable business insights.
  • Create data assets, presentations and reports that support strategic decision-making across Barclays.
  • Develop expertise in programming, modelling and data visualisation using leading platforms.
  • Translate analytical findings into actions and present recommendations to senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities, develop business cases and support new product and service launches.
  • Develop financial models and strategies supporting decision-making within retail banking data and analytics.

Development and support

  • Receive tailored training, mentorship, networking opportunities, feedback and volunteering opportunities throughout the internship.
  • Participate in training and development programmes to strengthen relevant technical, analytical and consulting skills.
  • Work on real projects with meaningful responsibilities while building professional connections across Barclays.

Requirements

  • You must be in your penultimate year of university and graduating in 2028.
  • Bring enthusiasm, drive, a solutions-focused mindset and a sharp eye for opportunities and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate a client-first approach when contributing to analytical and business initiatives.

Location and work eligibility

  • The role is based in London, at Barclays’ Canary Wharf hub.
  • Applicants requiring UK visa sponsorship may be eligible, subject to Home Office skilled-worker visa criteria.
  • Applicants unable to receive sponsorship must have their own full-time UK work rights from June to August 2027.
  • Any successful return offer to the graduate programme will be based at the internship location.
